Aussie Hotel scorchers were the only winners for Young in last weekend’s round four matches, defeating the Albion Hotel Cootamundra in their match played at Clarke Oval.

The Scorchers chased down Albion’s 158 in 31.6 finishing with 8-162 after good batting from top scorer Drew Morris 38, Troy Newham 31 and Ben Schofield 25.
Thomas Marshall, Drew Morris, Jacob Dodge and Matt Sell all took two wickets for Scorchers with Ethan Newham the other wicket taker.
Best with the willow for Albion Hotel was Kevin Worth with 43.
In the other Division 2 match Young Hotel Saints set the Criterion Gunners just 86 for victory at Keith Cullen Oval.
Only openers Chris Martin 31 and Craig Hambrook 20, reached double figures in an innings which saw wickets fall at regular intervals after the loss of the two openers.
Criterion Gunners made light work of the run chase losing just three wickets in 25.6 overs.
Brandon Sanderson 2-14 and Geoff Hamer 1-11 were the wicket takers.
