Saturday’s December men’s monthly medal, sponsored by Keith Simmons Engineering, saw the event played over 18 holes for the first time in three months due to the wet course.
Mick Kentwell dominated B grade winning the medal, the elite scratch and the Elegant Timber Shutters and Blinds Putting comp, while Mark Crutcher won two NTP's and Darryl Whinam had a terrific score with 59 net to win the C grade medal.
The Sunday two-person ambrose, sponsored by Young Allied Grains Systems and John White and run in conjunction with the Young Rotary Club, was a successful day.
Next Saturday is the four-ball best ball Christmas hamper event sponsored by Milnes Country Style Meats and Aaryn Murfitt.
Sunday’s event will be the mixed foursomes championship over 27 holes and sponsored by Corbetts Tyre Service, Turners Furniture One, Choices Carpets, Wilders Motorcycles, Greycat Milk Supply, South West Tractors and Mick & Leanne Slater.
We will need a minimum of 12 pairs for the event so please get your name on the time sheet as soon as possible.
Saturday night’s Cherry Festival Poets event was a great night with 10 very good poets participating.
