Saturday’s single stableford at Clover Leigh was won by Kate Marwood-Craig with 36 points. Runner-up was Tania Baldwin with 34 points. Nearest the pin to Tania with 420cms on the seventh.
A number of members took the opportunity to play in the Cowra golf club’s ‘greenkeeper revenge’ event on Saturday when pin placements were put in very testing positions. The team did well until the 15th when three attempts at the one putt failed.
December 17 there will be a single-par event, hit-off at 8am. Sunday, December 18, will be the annual presentations for 2016 to be held at the clubhouse. The day’s events will start with a 9-hole single stableford competition at 9 am. Presentations at 12.30pm. The annual Christmas party will start with lunch at 1pm.
