All the hard work and study for Year 12 students will culminate in the release of the ATAR scores online on Friday.
Year 12 students from Young will find out their rankings and be able to apply for courses at different universities from across the country depending on their results.
ATARS are calculated for all eligible Year 12 students with results available on the UAC website from 9.00 am Friday morning.
Each year more than 45,000 students apply to UAC for admission to courses offered by NSW and ACT Universities.
For the majority of courses there are more applicants than places which is where the ATAR results come in.
After HSC results were released on Thursday students were then ranked and awarded an ATAR to allow selection into courses to take place.
