Organiser Phillip Davis is calling on members of the public who have an interest in the education, showing, care and maintenance of Guniea Pigs to attend the first meeting at the Salvation Army Hall in Young on Tuesday night at 7 pm.
Following in the footsteps of the national, state and other regional bodies the Club eventually hopes to become incorporated.
Organisers have already been in contact with the Young Show Society and will be holding an exhibition at this year’s Young Show. Next year the Arts Hall at the Showground has been booked for Mother’s Day for a competition which will cater to serious Cavy showers as well as younger members and families with novelty events.
