The week commenced with an author visit by Sue Whiting.
Mrs Mandy Williams produced a play for the school to enjoy, the cast and crew excelled themselves with a charming and very entertaining version of “Danny in the Toy Box”.
More than 100 children from local pre-schools also joined in the fun.
St Mary’s is well known for their Mother’s Day celebration and this year the school put on a special event for the dads.
The highlight of Book Week is always the Book Character Parade and 2017 was no exception.
The children looked fantastic and parents, teachers and spectators all contributed to the joyful atmosphere.
