A 43-year-old Thuddungra man will face court in January as a result of of the accidental shooting of a 12-year-old boy in Septemeber.

Man to face court for gun offences
Cootamundra Detectives issued the Court Attendance Notice to the man earlier this week to face the offences of ‘Not keep firearm safe’ and ‘Give firearm to person not authorised by licence/permit.’
Police said the male’s firearms licence has been suspended and he has surrendered all firearms to police for destruction.
The man will appear in Young Local Court on January 9, 2018.
On September 27 a 12-year-old boy was injured on a Thuddungra property when a firearm was unintentionally discharged. Police have said the boy is believed to have made a full recovery.
