This year all funds raised at the event will go to Hilltops Community Hub in Young with the staff helping during the event on the barbecue as well as all over the course on the day.
The event will be a four-person Ambrose with registrations at 10am and a shot-gun start from 11am.
One of the organisers Nathan McEvoy said members from all three Emergency Service organisations in town will be taking part in the event so the perpetual championship between Ambulance, Police and the Fire Brigades will continue.
There are plenty of prizes to win on the day including the $5000 hole-in-one prize proudly provided by John Dunk and the team at Dunk Insurance, a Lazy-Boy recliner from Turners Furniture One as well as lots more.
There are extra prizes up for grabs on the day as well with the Straightest and Longest Drives as well as Nearest the Pin.
“All the business houses that are supporting the day have been involved since the Charity Golf Day began,” McEvoy said.
Organisers are hoping to see at least 100 golfers on the course on Friday and really support the event. There will be a huge raffle during the presentation after the end of play where the winners of all prizes will be announced.
“The community understand at times we do a difficult job,” McEvoy said. “Having people participate really reinforces for us the hard work we do.”

Cost of entry is $35 per person. Anyone who would like to get in early and register can do so by contacting Bryce Mawhinney at the Young Golf Club pro-shop on 63821543.
“Any support on the day is greatly appreciated,” McEvoy said.
