The event was open to families, friends and individuals who all wanted to join in with the fun and activities on the day and was held in conjunction with the Hilltops Council’s Enliven festival which has turned Youth Week and Seniors Week into a month long event to bring people of all ages together as a massive celebration in the region with events throughout the council area.
The event included a free barbecue for those in attendance, bingo, card games, puzzles and much more for the whole community no matter what age, skill level or ability.
Those who attended the Family Game Day said it was a fantastic way for them to come together with other families and individuals in the community to spend a day with plenty of fun and bonding going on.
Many who joined in the day asked when the next Family Game Day would be held.
