Sheila Traynor, Jill Rosen and Margo Parker were the overall winners after two games of twelve ends in two bowl triples. Weather conditions were very tricky with the relentless wind testing the best of players. Margo won closest to the opposing ditch, Kate Cooper won the ‘resting toucher’ and Jill won third place in the 100 club so a great day was had by all.
Two games were played on Tuesday with ten ladies on a beautiful day for social bowls. One game of two bowl Triples; Robyn Tierney, Ann Gardner and Margaret Gailey 24 played Mary Frost. Leonie Martin and Julie Alavoine 8. One game of three bowl Pairs; Jill Rosen and Margaret Glasheen 21 played Eileen Blain and Heather Bailey 13.
