Stars of Young performer David Hall cut a rug across Young on Friday when he held his ‘Dollar Day’ to raise money for the Cancer Council’s gala event.

Visiting schools and local businesses David flossed his way around town collecting money and entertaining residents and visitors alike.
David will be putting his skills to the test on June 22 when the Cancer Council’s Stars of Young: Dance for a Cure gala will be held.
David as well as competitors Jacqui and Peter Spring, Kim Goonan, Renee McGovern, Cindy James, Cam Rosser, Emma Wark and Addy Nuthall will all be paired up with a dance teacher to learn a style of dance for the gala event.
At the time of going to print there had already been $10,120 raised by the group of ‘Stars’ with more fundraising events to be held throughout the lead up to the main event.
