As always, the Super 7s competition was up first. Stuart MacKenzie was the first to wrangle a goal for the White team, reminding the now thoroughly drenched hockey fanatics why they were there and what they had come to do. Ryan Laybutt and Emily Calvert continued to rake in the goals for the White team despite continual slipping and sliding around in the wet as the players proved they were willing to do what it took for the glory of their newfound teammates. Tahlia Gruber certainly proved that for the Black team, taking out the only two goals they managed, and Declan Laybutt finished off the tally for the White team, taking them to their 4-2 victory.

The Winter competition, true to its name this week, was set for a game between the Penguins and the Blues. Bravely, the players took the field. Desperately, the Blues fought to hold off the Penguins who, honestly, probably should have been quite happy in the Antarctic conditions out on the field. The scorecard was still empty when the halftime hooter sounded. The match was called off allowing the half-drowned heroes to seek shelter. As a reward for their dogged determination, everybody gets points! Yay!
