The Operational Plan and Delivery Program form the basis of Council’s long-term strategies and ensure that the Council can deliver on the community’s priorities as outlined in the Community Strategic Plan.
The Delivery Program is Council’s response and commitment to implementing, within its available resources, the priorities and aspirations of the community.
These documents are our promise to the community on what we will deliver within our term, it is an exciting time for Hilltops Council moving forward.
- Brian Ingram
Mayor Brian Ingram said the plan outlines the programs and projects Council will undertake to fulfil its obligations to the community.
“These documents are Council’s response to the Community Strategic Plan and are our promise to the community on what we will deliver within our term.” Cr Ingram said.
“The plans have a strong focus on delivering stronger country communities, grant projects and asset renewal with water and roads being critical priorities as indicated by the community and will utilise loans and funding for new infrastructure to spread the cost for ratepayers now and in the future.
Cr Ingram said the plan reflects the council’s long-term goal of financial sustainability and the delivery of quality services, infrastructure and outcomes for the community.
“It is an exciting time for Hilltops Council moving forward as one consolidated organisation; we have worked hard developing these documents to incorporate what the community wants,” he said.
“We have also included measures and indicators that we will use to track our progress in achieving the services and programs.
“We are confident and optimistic about the future of Hilltops Council with strong potential for continued growth, economic development and excellent service delivery to support our strong, creative and vibrant community.”
