On Saturday evening some 400 people will gather back at the club for a dinner where the major prize money will be drawn.
Announced will be the master's city versus country sides that will play for the fourth year on Sunday in a stand alone game.
All teams will play another game on Sunday before heading home with the carnival due to finish around 1pm.
The Young Master's carnival is billed as the second largest carnival in the NRL Master's calender only beaten by the Gold Coast carnival which now has 100 teams entered and is played in March of every year.
The Cherryatrics get great coverage of our carnival at the the Gold Coast and in 2014 we gained a merit award for our carnival and services to the game.
All players must be 35 years and over to play and our oldest player this year is around 74 and playes for the Illawarra Old Boys. There are three different coloured shorts that are worn in white for tackle, red for a grab tackle and yellow for touch with those players being over 60 years of age. Nominations close on September 14.
We could not stage this carnival without the support of both the senior and junior League's along with our great sponsors with the major sponsor being the Young S&C Club.
