Jarrod Dean John Pope, 21, of William Street, Young, was convicted at Young Local Court on a charge of driving while suspended about 4.15pm on July 6.
Police recognised Pope as a suspended driver travelling west along Lovell Street, according to a police statement.

Police inquiries showed that his licence was suspended due to demerit points from April 20 this year till July 19.
Police say he told them he had started a “payment plan” that same day.

The court heard that Pope, who represented himself at court, had been given a good behaviour bond at the beginning of last year.
“A section 10 bond is like gold, don’t squander that,” Magistrate O’Brien said.
