Show day events:
8.30am
- Breakfast available from P&C Canteen
- Horse ring events – Rings 1, 2, 3 and 6
- Showjumping
- Team Yarding
9am
- Horse ring events – Ring 4
- Pavilions open
- Yard Dog Trials
- Toddlers play area and Pedal Tractor Farm
10am
- Bar opens
- Kentucky Animal Farm (10am – 2pm)
12.30pm
- Judging of Bribbaree Show ‘Little People’ – Judging will be at 1pm adjacent to the old trotting track prior to the running races.
12.45pm
- Children’s running races (boys and girls will run separately) Free entry for all children’s sporting events.
1.30pm
- Farmer’s Challenge – A team of two (one male and one female). A number of set tasks will be required to be undertaken. The winner will be the team that completes all tasks in the quickest time
2pm
- Official opening by Dr Joseph Murphy.
- Announcement of the Lady and Gentleman of the show
- Announcement of Miss Teen and Junior Show Person along with ‘Little People’ of the show
- Drawing of the Lucky Gate draw, raffle and 100 club winners
- Lolly scramble for children 5 years and under.
2.30pm
- Horse sporting events
3pm
- Junior six bar competition
- Open six bar competition
- Miniature horse, ponies and shetlands events begin
4pm
- Tug-of-war challenge – Get your team together to challenge the current champions Douglas/Potbury Family. A trophy and prize money are on offer. Names are to be lodged at the bar before 4pm on show day.
The Sheep exhibits will include wool classes and breed classes as well as a prime lamb competition. Farm produce classes will include grain, fruit and vegetables. There will be several different cooking classes awarded in the pavilion including a junior cooking section, champion chocolate cake, preserves, jams, sauces and pickles classes as well as crafts, needlework and crochet classes.
Entry into the show will be: Family Pass (Two adults, two children under 16) $30, Adults $10, Senior pensioner (proof required) $8, Children 8-16 years $5, Children 7 and under Free.
