150 year Milestone
The twin towns Catholic community celebrates the 150 year milestone of St Mary’s Murrumburrah this Sunday. The celebrations is in the form of a concert to be held 150th year at Harden Catholic Church at 2pm, which can seat 600. Concert performers include The Australian Rugby Choir, Drew Ashley of Canberra, Hilltops soprano Julie O’Connor, Harry Cleverdon and many more.
Band Concert
Young Town Band will take to the stage at Young Town Hall early in November to present a concert for the Hilltops region. Band members will take you on a musician journey through many genres of concert band music. The band recently performed at the Young Show to wide acclaim.
Popular Comedy
Young Theatre Company has earned a reputation for presenting a fun line up of works over recent years, and this weekend is no different. The company is offering “Sex Please, We’re 60” over three performances; two evening and a Sunday matinee.
Cherry Queen Fundraisers
Our 2018 National Cherry Queen Quest entrants Amelia Everdell and Clare Grantham have some stand out fundraisers planned this month. Support Amelia’s High Tea and Fashion Show on Saturday for CanAssist, and Clare’s Masquerade Dinner Dance the following week for Young Community Chest.
