This will be the 20th Cherry Festival Tournament and the women intend to make it a very special time for members and visitors alike.
Bowlers will travel from all over the state for the women’s triples, the mixed pairs and the men’s tournament, all in which will be held in our beautiful town.

If anyone has any photos relating to past Cherry Festival Tournaments, the Young Bowling Club would really appreciate a copy to display during the days of the tournament coming up.
Player to represent Country
Margo Parker from Young Bowling Club has been chosen to play in the open section of the Country team to play the City on November 3 and 4.
The tournament will be held at the Soldiers Point Bowling Club.
Margo will join players from St John’s Park, Taren Point, Cabramatta, The Hills, Sawtell, Merimbula, Raymond Terrace and Oak Flats.
The Country team will be defending their crown.
Good luck goes out to the Country team for their tournament.
Social bowls days
If there are eight players or more on the women’s social bowls days, there is a draw to win $100 jackpot based on margins, so come along and be in it to win it.
Vouchers will be drawn out of the hat in the near future, which means that anyone and everyone has the chance to win one.
