Ms Buttriss, along with members of Young’s Mental Health team from the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, and about 10 people from the Young community have been participating in the walk from Big W to Aboretum Park.
Each week a different special guest speaks to the walkers addressing topics such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss and perinatal mental health.
Mrs Buttriss came up with the idea and has been impressed with how its turned out during Mental Health Month.

The month’s final walk is scheduled for Tuesday, October 30, but Mrs Buttriss hopes it becomes a regular event.
