The season may have only finished not long ago but the Cherrypickers Rugby League Football Club already have their sights firmly set on the 2019 season.

The Pickers kicked off their preseason training on Monday night at the PCYC with new coach Roy Jewitt not holding anything back in going forward.
The boys kicked off the first of seven weeks of circuit training that Roy himself wasn’t even shying away from joining the boys on the mats as they started working towards next year.
All players in all grades are encouraged to get down to the PCYC on Mondays from 6pm to join in the preseason stretch.
And though the first grade side have already begun the hard trudge towards the next season, the remainder of the teams are now also able to as well with the announcement on Monday night of the coaches for the 2019 season.
The 2019 Cherrypickers coaches are:
Under 16s – Tom Bush
Girls - Saul Lealaitafea
Under 18s - Garry Lucas
Reggie’s (Reserve Grade) - Nick Bush and Greg Smith
First Grade - Roy Jewitt
Registrations are now open for players wishing to play in 2019 with the club accepting the Active Kids Rebate which will be available to be redeemed from January 1, 2019.
Rego for 2019 will be $135 which will include a Cherrypickers polo shirt, shorts and socks.
The club has asked that anyone wishing to join in training needs to be registered for insurance purposes.
