Close to 130 golfers are expected to converge on Young Golf Club for this year's event which is raising money for the Mercy Care Centre's refurbishment of the palliative care unit.
Organiser and captain of Young Fire and Rescue Ryan Terry says he hopes to raise $8000.
"We hope to hit the $8000 mark this year, we're on track at the moment so that'd be really good," Mr Terry said.

The golf day was established by Young's emergency services personnel as an opportunity to bring them all together and raise some money in the process. Mr Terry said following the success of the first event, it became an annual event.
Local police, firies and ambulance officers will be taking part in the four-man ambrose competition.
While it's all about raising money, Mr Terry said there are bragging rights on the line.
"I think the firies have won it for the past five years, maybe even a few more times. There is that friendly competition," he said.
"But it's all about raising money for local charities, every single cent we raise stays in town. We're very selective of who we gave the money too."
Money is raised through sponsorship of holes and various fundraising activities throughout the day.
Golfers will have a chance to score some prizemoney with Dunk Insurance again putting up $5000 for a person who hits a hole-in-one on the 17th hole.
"I don't think anyone has come close," Mr Terry said.
It's a shotgun start at 11am.
