Two people have been charged after shots were allegedly fired at a parked car in Young on Thursday afternoon.

A 21-year-old man from Young and a 17-year-old boy from Harden were charged with firing a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, discharging a firearm at a house, and firing a firearm in a public place.
The 21-year-old was refused bail to appear at Wagga Local Court on Friday, February 22, while the teenage boy was granted strict conditional bail to appear at a Children's Court on March 13.
Thursday 3.30pm
Two people were on Thursday afternoon helping police with their inquiries following an alleged shooting on Brock Street in Young.
Police say a vehicle parked on Brock Street was shot at three times about 2pm.
Police were notified of the incident when the vehicle was driven to Young Police Station.
Soon after, a 21-year-old male from Young and a 17-year-old male from Harden were arrested on Blackett Avenue.
In dramatic scenes police were witnessed with their guns drawn and aimed at a white van on Blackett Avenue ordering the two alleged occupants to get out of the vehicle.
Both complied with police directions, lying on the road and footpath before being handcuffed and lead away.
Police were then seen searching the vehicle.
"We've secured the scene and are awaiting forensics to arrive," Acting Inspector of Young Police Michael Madgwick said.
"We've secured a vehicle which had three bullet holes in it."
Police say they weren't aware of the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
The two alleged offenders were yet to be questioned, and were yet to be charged at 3.30pm.
"They're awaiting questioning," Acting Inspector Madgwick said.
"Forensics will examine the scene. We found some bullet casings which will be processed.
"It's very early in the investigation. We're just getting the basic information."
No one was injured and the vehicle which was shot at was towed from outside Young Police Station.
