Help celebrate community diversity in the Hilltops region, with Arts and Cuisine at Burrangong Gallery on Saturday March 16 from 12pm.
Taste ethnic cuisine, enjoy live performances, cultural music and take part in the official opening of the latest exhibition at the gallery.
This Harmony Day event is sponsored by Multicultural NSW and everyone is invited.
Harden Truck and Tractor Show
You’ll find a treasure trove of trucks, tractors, buses, fire engines, military vehicles, stationary engines and classic cars at the 6th annual Truck and Tractor Show at the Murrumburrah Harden Show Ground later this month.
The event, presented by the Harden Historic Truck and Tractor Club will be held on Sunday March 17, with gates opening at 9am.
Entry is by donation and there will be stalls and barbeques on site.
Children’s Book Reading
Bring your children to Hilltops Library in Lynch Street, Young at the Lambing Flat Chinese Festival on March 30 for a Children’s Book Reading.
Author Helen Buck will present a reading of her latest work, The Dragon in the Park, a children’s picture book suitable for children up to primary school age and is classified as juvenile fiction, fantasy and magic.
The activity takes place at 11am and there will be books to purchase. Mercy Care Cocktail Party Clifton House and Gardens at Young is the setting for the Mercy Care Centre Cocktail Party to be held this Saturday at Young.
The event will raise funds for an upgrade of the palliative care rooms.
Young Hosts National Show
The National Donkey and Mule Show will be held at the Pony Club Arena at Young Showground this weekend.
The event has been held at Young for some years and and spectators are welcome to attend.
March Markets
Markets are once again scheduled in the Hilltops region this month.
This Saturday the Young Uniting Church Monthly Markets will be conducted at the corner of Cloete and Lynch Streets, with the Young Region Farmers Markets back in Anderson Park, Young the following Saturday.
The Boorowa Makers and Growers Market will be held on
March 23 at the Old Court House Grounds in Marsden Street.
