The 'Variety Livvis's Place', which has been designed in partnership with children's charity, Variety aims to provide an inclusive play experience and offers a range of play options including a flying fox, sand play area, accessible spinner and climbing fort.
Member for Cootamundra, Steph Cooke said $420,000 Stronger Communities Fund grant from the state government has been put towards the playspace.
"This is a fantastic project and will create an area where children can come together to enjoy themselves as part of a community," Ms Cooke said.
"These designs give a clear impression of what a wonderful area this will be, and I can't wait to see it when it's complete."
Hilltops Mayor Brian Ingram thanked those members of the community who had participated in the consultation process in developing the playspace design.
"As we all know playgrounds provide a great sense of community and we have clearly seen that on display at the recently upgraded playground in Boorowa. I look forward to seeing this project completed by the end of this year," he said.
Variety - the Children's Charity has recently joined forces with the Touched by Olivia Foundation to work with local communities all across Australia to build inclusive playspaces known as ''Variety Livvi's Place' with the closest one to Young having recently opened in Wagga Wagga.

"Working with these partners to deliver the project provides an opportunity to create a truly inclusive playspace in the centre of Young that will engage all children and their families and carers in the act of play," Mayor Ingram said.
The concept design for the Variety Livvi's Place inclusive playspace at Tresillian Park is available to view on Council's website and also at the Hilltops Council - Young office.
