Hilltops Council will introduce load and speed restrictions for Cudgell Creek Bridge (Old Forbes Road) and Haddons Bridge (Murringo Gap Road) from 3pm Friday, June 14.

As a result of each bridge undergoing a loading capacity structural analysis it has been determined to restrict the maximum load permissible for a heavy vehicle depending on the axial configuration to pass across the bridge structure, and the speed limit on the bridge structure.
Regulatory signage installed at each location will indicate the maximum load limit for heavy vehicles, one heavy vehicle permitted on the bridge at any one time and speed limit restrictions for all vehicles.
These restrictions will be in place until further notice, council said in a statement.
Murringo Gap Road is north of the Murringo village while the Old Forbes Road is off Henry Lawson Way, north of Young.
