The building was vacated late last year after more than 60 years of continued tenancy commencing back in the 1940s when it was the Coles Variety Store.
It changed in the 1990s to Coles-Fosseys before it was later established as Target Country. It was sold in 2002 to its current city-based owner.
The store closed on December 29 last year.
Local agent and auctioneer John R Barton has a close connection with the property, having sold the building four times since 1988 while leases have renewed.
Mr Barton, who again is the selling and leasing agent, said the property has been extensively advertised and he's confident it will sell.
"I'm very confident this now vacant building will be reoccupied soon contributing to Young's vibrant shopping centre."
It will be auctioned on site on Thursday, June 27 at 12 noon.
