The two sides will do battle at Condobolin in a blockbuster round 11 South West Oilsplus clash.
Yabbies clubman Nick Duff said it's Young's biggest match of the year so far, as they look to secure a finals spot.
"If we lose we fall out of the top four and it would put our finals hopes in jeopardy," he said.
He said an emphasis will be placed on tightening up in defence in an effort to minimise Condobolin's scoring plays.
He expects Dan Dowson and Dan Parker to lead the from front in that department, while Schiller brothers Nick and James could provide the excitement in the backline.
Duff said discipline is also a key area of focus for the Yabbies.
"We can't afford to piggy back them up field with silly errors and penalties," Duff said.
The Yabbies and Rams will do battle at Condobolin from 3.15pm on Saturday at Condobolin.
