Forty-three projects, including four from the Hilltops region, have reached the public vote stage, allowing everybody a chance to help which ideas come to life.
Projects in the Hilltops region include a swing-and-spin for the inclusive playground being built in Young, a softfall surface for the only playground in Murringo, disabled toilet access at Toompang Racecourse and an accessible, all weather playground in Boorowa.
Up to $260,000 has been made available for the Cootamundra electorate.
Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke encouraged the community to have their say.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for everybody to have a say in how their communities will develop, whether that's through the building of a new sport facility, upgrades to a hall or even the staging of an event," Ms Cooke said.
"It's an innovative and exciting program that is putting decision making back in the hands of community members to weigh in on their top picks for projects in the region.
"Voting opens today and residents have until August 15 to nominate between three and five projects, which is so easy to do.
"All you need is your Medicare card and a free MyServiceNSW account, which also provides quick access to a wide range of NSW Government services, such as the CTP Green Slip refund for eligible policyholders.
"You can also pop down to the local Service NSW centre where friendly staff can help residents cast their vote."
Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said My Community Project is a fantastic opportunity for residents to have a direct say about which projects should be delivered in their community.
"My Community Project is a great example of real grassroots democracy in action," Mr Perrottet said.
Voting concludes on August 15, 2019, with successful projects to be announced from September 2019.
