Two men have been charged following a fight on Boorowa Street during the early hours of Sunday morning, September 1.

Police were patrolling Boorowa Street about 12.01am when they saw two males allegedly fighting in the middle of the road. Police separated the males however one broke free and it is alleged the fighting briefly resumed.
One of the males, a 19-year-old from Young, is alleged to have continued provoking the other male and was arrested. It will be alleged that he resisted police and after a struggle, police deployed OC spray.
He was taken to Young Police Station and charged with the offences of affray, resist officer in execution of duty and intimidate police officer. He has been bailed to appear before Young Local Court on September 17.
Arresting police suffered grazing during the arrest. About 5.05pm on Sunday afternoon, police attended a house in Young and arrested the other male allegedly involved in the fight, a 23-year-old man.
He was charged with the offences of affray and breach of bail, being on bail at the time of the fight. He will appear before Cootamundra Local Court on November 4.
