Maggie penned a letter to the Queen and sent it to Buckingham Palace about two months ago. On Friday last week, she was thrilled to find she'd received a reply.
Maggie's mother Nell Canellis said it was hugely exciting.
"I think I was just as excited. She tried to tear into but I had to stop her and I got a knife and opened it carefully," Nell said.
Maggie said she "just wanted to", when asked what made her write to Her Majesty.
It said: "O' Dear Queen, you so deserve to be the Queen of the world. You are so beautiful and loved by all, love Maggie Canelis".
Maggie's letter included a drawn picture of the Queen and her crown, corgi dogs, and Maggie herself.
"She finished writing the letter and drew a beautiful picture and she said we had to send it to Buckingham Palace. So we went to the post office, she put the stamp on and put it in the big red box. I only thought you got a letter if you turned 100," Nell said.
