"Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond the Foundation's control, Young's Family Fun Duck Day will not be going ahead in 2020," Foundation founder Emma Cockburn said.
"However, we will be aiming to bring Duck Day back to a new and improved Young Aquatic Centre in 2021."
The annual Georgina Josephine Foundation Duck Day raises money that allows the Foundation to travel across the country raising awareness and educating both adults and children on safety issues.
"Without the generosity of so many businesses both local and regional, Duck Day would not occur, and without the support of the public who come along each year to enjoy the day, Duck Day just would not happen!" Emma said.
"So, we thank you one and all, and look forward to seeing you again in 2021!"
Since February 23, 2014, the Georgina Josephine Foundation has held its major fundraising event, "Young's Family Fun Duck Day" at the Young Aquatic Centre each February.
The Georgina Josephine Foundation aims to develop support services for families affected by low-speed vehicle runover accidents, and to prevent and reduce unintentional injury or death of children in such accidents.
