Kingston Knox Fawcett was born at 6.43pm on Friday, January 3 to proud parents Tori Sams and Aaron Fawcett from Young.
He weighed in at 3.5 kilograms and is the brother to Conner Fawcett, 6.
Grandparents are Lynne and Laurie Sams from Young and Bev Fawcett from Young and Dave Fawcett from Sydney.
Hospital Auxiliary president Janice Ward on Wednesday presented Tori with a hand crocheted blanket for little Kingston.
"We've been doing it for about five years. It's always very special and we don't see a lot of babies," Janice said.
"It's just one of the other things the Hospital Auxiliary can do to make Young Hospital the best it can be. And we try to make it something memorable and extra special.
"We also knit lovely baby hats to be given to new babies, so no baby goes home with a cold head. They are in cotton, acrylic or wool to suit the weather."
Over the last few years the Hospital Auxiliary has gifted to the maternity section a set accurate scales for weighing babies, three sofa beds for partners staying with the mother, and a baby monitor.
