Thursday bowls
Play last Thursday morning had only eight players taking part even though the weather was a bit cooler than expected.
The two winning teams were Brian Christie and Joe Bargwanna who won the vouchers with their margin of 21 shots and Harold Anderson and Les Fanning who had a margin of 16 shots.
Saturday bowls
There was a much better attendance on Saturday afternoon with 30 players involved - probably had a lot to do with the weather conditions.
The vouchers for the afternoon were won by John Cooper and Denis Rosen who won their game by 17 shots just enough to beat the winning margin of 16 shots for Phil Taylor, Bill Maloney and Tom Preston.
The other games were closer contests with the winners and margins being: Ian Apps, Tim Carpenter and Colin Powell (6), Colin Chapman, Steve Barnes and Peter Slater (5), Brian March and Brian Madden (8) and Colin Stokell and Dave Quigley (1).
