A group of 20 ladies from Young have put their sewing skills to work in an effort to help injured wildlife in bushfire affected areas.

On Saturday, January 12 a craft-a-thon was held at Green Glass Studio in Young.
Sixty-five pouches of various sizes, 180 inner liners, six nests and 12 bat wraps were made, to be delivered to Southern Cross Wildlife Care and the Animal Rescue Collective.
All materials were donated or brought along on the day.
