Fourteen teams have entered to contest the preseason tournament.
Organisers released the opening round draw on Thursday night.
"As we have 14 teams this year, we will have all seven winning teams through to Saturday's quarter finals as well as the best performing losing team from Friday's games," Knockout Coordinator Nicole Wood said.
Determining the best performing loser from Friday night, organisers will look at the losing teams points for and against.
The tournament is played on Friday and Saturday, February 28 and 29.
Young Cherrypickers coach Nick Hall is expected to announce his squad in the coming days.
Friday night games:
- Young Cherrypickers v Forbes Magpies

- Yass v TLU Sharks
- Goulburn Workers v Wagga Kangaroos
