Young Show Society president Sam Reynolds said the decision was not an easy one.
The Show was set to be held on September 20.
"We've held on for as long as we can. There's just too many unknowns as this stage so we're going to turn our focus on 2021 and making it as big as possible," she said.
"I want to thank the community, sponsors, volunteers, stewards and everyone involved in the show for their support and we're looking forward to seeing them all again next year.
"It's very disappointing and it wasn't an easy decision to make. The committee believe this is in the best interest of our community at this time. We have worked really hard to put on good shows the past two years and we'll work just as hard for 2021."
The Young Horse Show may still go ahead on the October long weekend.
A decision will be made closer to the date.
