"It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the cancellation of this year's Bribbaree Show," committee secretary Emma Whitechurch said.
"With the safety and wellbeing of our valued and dedicated volunteers, stewards, judges and patrons, being of the upmost priority it is just impossible for us to continue to plan the show with the current levels of uncertainty."
The show had been planned for Saturday October 3 with the event held annually on the Saturday of the long weekend in October.
Though the Bribbaree community may be small it's show brings in a large crowd with competitors and visitors travelling from as far as Newcastle and the South Coast to take part in different events.
"We would like to thank our sponsors and the community for their continued support of our show and vow to come back bigger and better in 2021," Emma said.
The committee advised that they may still hold a 'fun day' for members, but that this will be decided closer to the date.
In the meantime the Bribbaree Show committee are encouraging the public, who would like to help shape the future of the 2021 Bribbaree Show and beyond, to become members at www.bribbareeshow.com/membership.
The Bribbaree Show is one in a list of local shows who have cancelled their events over the past few months with Young, Forbes and Eugowra announcing they would cancel their 2020 shows just last week.
