Following a delayed start to the season and a disrupted pre-season, Young has swiftly found form on the pitch.
The Cherryettes have posted three wins in a row while only conceding one try and piling on more than 100 points.
Young's scores in the first three weeks include a 28-0 win over Tumut, 24-0 victory over Gundagai and a 50-4 thumping of Junee in the opening round.
They sit atop of the ladder on equal points with Wagga Kangaroos, however are ahead on points differential.
Young will use the bye to rest up before a tough couple of weeks ahead against Wagga Brothers, who beat Junee 94-0 last week, followed by Kangaroos.
Meanwhile, Young's reserve grade is similarly off to a flyer and are undefeated after three rounds.
The Cherrypickers reserves have also only conceded one try while posting a 46-0 win over Junee, 16-6 victory over Gundagai and last week a 60-0 thrashing of Tumut.
Young shares the lead at the summit of the ladder with Wagga Brothers, who they'll play following this weekend's bye.
The under 16s are placed fourth after three rounds, 18s fifth and first grade are at the bottom of the ladder, however four teams including Young have only won one.
All Young grades will rest up with a bye this weekend.
