About 5.10pm on Friday July, 31 police were patrolling a licensed premise in Young when two males came to attention due to their alleged level of intoxication and behaviour.

They were directed to leave the premises. One male complied however the second, and a 40-year-old man of Boorowa, allegedly refused to comply with the requirement to leave the premise and its vicinity.
After several warnings, the man was arrested and taken to Young Police Station.
Due to his alleged behaviour, he was detained for several hours as an intoxicated person. He was later charged with the offence of excluded person remain in vicinity of licensed premises.
He will appear before Young Local Court on September 22.
Mid-range reading
A man from Wallendbeen has been charged with mid-range drink driving in Young.
About 12.15am on Sunday, August 2 this year, police were patrolling Short Street, Young when they stopped a white Toyota ute being driven by a 33-year-old man of Wallendbeen.
The driver was breath tested and returned a positive reading. He was arrested and taken to Young Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis.
He allegedly returned a reading of 0.109.
He was charged with the offence of drive with middle range PCA and will appear at Young Local Court on August 12.
High-range Grenfell
About 12.30am on Saturday, August 1, police from Grenfell were patrolling following reports of a brawl at a licensed premises.
A red Mitsubishi ute was stopped, and the driver breath tested.
The driver, a 43-year-old man of Grenfell, returned a positive reading.
He was arrested and taken to Grenfell Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis.
He allegedly returned a high range reading of 0.162
He was charged and will appear at Young Local Court on September 22.
