About 12.19pm, a car travelling on the Olympic Highway towards Young was waiting to turn right onto Pestells Lane when it was hit from behind by a heavy vehicle travelling in the same direction.
The car was pushed into the southbound lane where it collided with a second heavy vehicle.
Young's NSW Fire and Rescue unit responded to free the two females who were trapped in the car.
