"I'm very disappointed there's no heavy vehicle route identified around Young. At the moment if you look at long vehicles, wide track vehicles, if you look at over-heavy vehicles, they can't negotiate Young," Cr Walker said.
"For example, as the wind farms are going up in the Boorowa region, those facilities can't come down any road in or around Young."
Cr Walker asked whether there was "anything being done" about a proposed bypass.
Cr Greg Armstrong said the bypass matter had been "dumped". Cr Walker said it wasn't discussed.
"I think council has shelved that idea, or dumped it is probably a more appropriate description, about four months ago, or five months ago," Cr Armstrong said.
"I won't let this go, this heavy vehicle bypass for Young. I don't believe it was discussed, I don't remember it coming up," Cr Walker said.
