The craft mornings resumed last week but on a different day. We are still holding them in the CWA rooms and at the same time but on alternate Fridays instead of Tuesdays. So if you would like to come along at 9.30-10am we'd love to see you. The next Craft morning is Friday December 4. You bring along any project you are currently working on you be it knitting, crocheting etc and while doing your craft have a chat to all the lovely ladies there. If you would like to learn a new craft come along - there is sure to be someone who can show you how to do it.
The Cottage Craft Shop in Boorowa St also has reopened and to celebrate the reopening and CWA Awareness Week, we handed out pieces of a delicious chocolate slice one of our members made as well as leaflets about CWA and recipes.
Our clever craft ladies have warm, cuddly blankets, jumpers and cardigans, beanies, scarves, and all sorts of baby wear. They have been busy making face masks for wearing in public during the COVID pandemic.
Spring is a great time for planting out new stock and getting a vegetable garden going and in the shop we have masses of pot plants for your garden.
We have three new members coming to our meeting and we warmly welcome them, just as we would welcome you to our meetings, so come along to find out what else we do, as well as the making "tea and scones". Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month, in the CWA rooms at 1.30pm.
So come along - you will be made most welcome.
