One hundred and thirty-nine Kindergarten students are settling into schools in Young. Young Public School has welcomed 66 new students to Kindergarten.
Thirty-seven students have started their education at Young North Public School, while 26 new Kindergarten students are beginning their school journey at St Mary's Primary School.
New Madinah College has welcomed 10 new Kindergarten students and has about 100 students in total.
Young North Public School's student population is 297 students, a stable figure for the past few years.
Five hundred and 10 students are attending Young Public School, up from about 497 last year.
St Mary's Primary School has 275 students across all year groups.
More than 180 students have started high school in Young this year.
Young High School has 110 students beginning Year 7, while Hennessy Catholic College has 76.
The total population of students at Young High School is 570, while at Hennessy Catholic College there's 495 students across the year groups.
