Two people have been taken to Canberra Hospital as a precaution after a single vehicle crash near Boorowa on Tuesday.
About 10.33am a black Ford travelling north on Lachlan Valley Way near Geegullalong Road has left the roadway and travelled about 200m along the shoulder before crashing, police said.
Police say it appears the 36-year-old driver has had a medical episode, causing the car to leave the road.
The passenger, also aged 36, and driver freed themselves from the car.
Both driver and passenger, from the ACT, were taken to Canberra Hospital as precaution due to the nature of the impact of the crash.

Emergency services are on the scene of a car crash on the Lachlan Valley Way near Boorowa.
A car has left the road and travelled down an embankment approximately 10km north of Boorowa on the Lachlan Valley Way near the intersection with Murringo Road, with ambulances, police, firefighters and RFS crews attending.
It is unknown at this stage if there are any injuries at this time.
Traffic is affected in both directions and motorists should exercise caution.
