With the Yabbies already sealing their position in the finals, the squad still had plenty to work on.
The Yabbies have been working hard over the last four weeks to continue their structured play and the Temora game was to be no different with the game a good one to set a platform for the first weekend of the semi finals.
The Yabbies were starved of the ball for the first 15 minutes of the game with discipline letting the side down.
This gave the Temora Tuskers some easy metres.
Despite the slow start the Yabbies were strong and patient in defense and they were soon rewarded with possession.
This enabled the mighty Yabbies to work on their patterns and it wasn't long before they found the try line through outside centre Harvey McGregor.
The conversion attempt was successful through Greg Cummins.
From the Temora kick off the Yabbies went straight on the front foot again with some excellent ball play out wide.
The Temora tight defense created a world of space out wide and the Yabbies fast back line seized the opportunity to spread the ball and the Yabbies were awarded another two quick tries.
The score now stood at 21 nil with about 15 minutes left in the first half.
The Yabbies were magnificent in attack working the ball left to right and comments from the crowd were highly complimentary of the level of energy the Yabbies were playing with.
The tries kept flowing for the Yabbies in the remainder of the first half with tries to Harvey McGregor, Jack Mann and Greg Cummins.
This included a length of the field break to five eighth Jack Mann who successfully scored his performance over the dead ball line.
Try not awarded and waterboy Rosser had to clear the field to allow play to resume.
The Tuskers had their heads in the mud and the Yabbies were in full flight.
When the half time whistle blew the Yabbies were cruising at 47 nil.
The half time pep talk was very positive from coaches Mullany and Rosser but the Yabbies discipline was their biggest enemy.
They needed to work on this issue in the second half and keep the foot on the throttle.
The second half started well for the Yabbies but the Temora Tuskers had found another gear.
They applied great pressure to the Yabs defense but the Yabs we were soon rewarded with a length of the field break through flanker Dan Parker who then found the support of fellow flanker Tom Turner running the final thirty metres and scoring under the post to give Jack Mann another simple conversion attempt.
Score now sat at 54 nil.
Temora responded through a very good scrum on their 22 metre line and pieced together a very sound length of the field try.
Penalties were starting to really hurt the Yabbies and were constantly marched up the field through referee John Crawford.
Continued penalties then resulted in a yellow card to prop Hagon Williams.
Temora capitalized on this and were lucky enough to gain another 5 pointer.
Yabbies were unable to achieve any more points in a game which saw the Yabbies penalized time after time and having no possession of the ball.
Final Score 54-10.
