Data for July at the Young Airport showed the average temperature range in the area was 1.8 degrees Celsius to 11.9 degrees Celsius and a whopping 101.6mm of rain fell.
The highest minimum temperature for the month was 7 degrees Celsius on July 24, while the highest maximum temperature was on the final day of the month when it reached 18.1 degrees Celsius.
The lowest minimum temperature for not only July but also for the year was a chilly 4 degrees Celsius on July 22 with the lowest maximum temperature reaching 7.2 degrees Celsius on July 6.
The average monthly temperature range according to the BoM is 0.9 to 13 degrees Celsius for July while the average rainfall for the month is usually 57.6mm.
The highest maximum temperature for July recorded at the Young Airport was 20.1 degrees Celsius on July 5, 2018 while the lowest maximum for July recorded is 5.5 degrees Celsius on July 30, 2003.
The lowest minimum temperature recorded in Young is -7 degrees Celsius on July 7, 2017 while the highest minimum temperature was 13.1 degrees Celsius on July 20, 2016.
The highest ever recorded monthly rainfall at the Young Airport was recorded in 1996 with 126.2mm.
