Supporters were overjoyed with the $35.90 on offer on the NSW TAB and with a nine metre advantage over another former local pacer in Annie Matilda trained by Mark Fletcher and last start Canberra winner Crackerjack Stride driven by Scott Osmond.
The record books will show that Another Buddy has now won four races from 65 starts for his dedicated owner.
Trainers will continue to compete at various other meetings within the local area with Bathurst, Wagga and Canberra holding meetings over the coming days.
