The Sacred Heart Mercy Hospital nurses reunion is being planned for May 25 and 26 next year with the help of a generous donation.

Nurses and anyone else who has previously worked at the hospital between 1911 and 1984 are cordially invited to attend the meet and greet at Hennessy College on Saturday, May 25 at 1.30pm.

There will be a 6pm mass at St Mary’s Catholic Church which everyone is invited to before the dinner at the Young Services Club at 7pm to 7.30pm for invitation only. Partners are also invited.
On Sunday, May 26 at 10am there will be an optional recovery brunch at Urban Retreat on Lynch Street open for everyone. The reunions are generally every five years and hopefully the invitations will find everyone.

The committee would like to give a huge thanks to the Young Services Club for their generous cash donation towards the expenses of the organisation for the event, and for the cost of printing the invitations and postage. RSVP will need to be in by March 2019, which needs to include payment.
The event is being organised by a small but energetic and enthusiastic nurses group in which includes, Nancy McGregor, Val Patterson, Noela Hardman, Ann Symons, Sue Rolls and Joy Cameron.
