A 10 race meeting will take place headlined by the Young Mini Dig Ray Henry Final. The club will begin a raffle on Saturday night with the winner drawn at the club’s Boxing Day meeting at the end of the year. The winner of the raffle will win a greyhound puppy.
Tickets are $10 each. Funds raised from the raffle will be used by The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party “who saved the industry from racing ban”, president of the Young Greyhound Racing Club Vicki Prest said.
“Common sense prevailed and we got our industry and livelihoods to continue, thanks to the Shooters, Fishers, Farmers Party but we are still under threat and we need our fair share of funding from the inter code agreement and our industry can thrive,” Young Greyhound Racing Club president Vicki Prest said.
Food and drinks and plenty more will be on offer for all members of the family. The club hopes to see more young people involved in the industry.

“It is not often a club will last 65 years and we welcome the community to come along and celebrate with us.” The first race at 7.30pm with 17 minutes between races.
