Playing for the Jordan McLean Cup on Wednesday afternoon at Alfred Oval, Hennessy defeated Young High School in three of four matches to retain the trophy, following last year's victory in the challenge's inaugural event.
Hennessy began the afternoon with victory in the under 13s boys match.
Playing 20 minute halves, Hennessy's 13s defeated Young High School 34-14 to throw the momentum in their favour early.

Young High School responded with victory in the under 15s match, registering a comfortable 36-6 win in a match that had to be reduced due to a serious leg injury suffered by one of the players.
It drew the schools all-square ahead of the opens league-tag match.
In a tense battle, Hennessy was able to keep Young High School at bay and post a 10-4 win to all but secure the Jordan McLean Cup for a second straight year.
The result was confirmed when the open boys from Hennessy scored a 44-12 triumph in the final match of the evening.
The Jordan McLean Cup was introduced to Young last year by Country Rugby League.
The idea was to create a friendly rivalry and promote rugby league in the two schools.
The opens league-tag was introduced this year. Jordan McLean, a former Cherrypicker and Young High School student, has become one of the NRL's best front-rowers in recent years, representing Australia in the 2017 Rugby Leauge World Cup.
Hennessy teacher Brendan Croese congratulated the students from each school on their conduct throughout the afternoon.

"The concept is really great. All the students who play have a good hit-out on the field and are friends straight after the game.
"It was very evident after each game that it didn't matter which school you were from or what the result was. It was just like the weekend and everyone was with their mates."
Young High School teacher Ben McGrath echoed Mr Croese's statement, and said it's a great way for the players to get some conditioning before upcoming school rugby league competitions.
"Our 13s and 15s, as well as Hennessy's, will travel to Cootamundra soon for the Country Cup. It's knockout type competition where team's can progress to the next level," Mr McGrath said.
Young High School also has an under 14s side which will contest the Buckley Shield.
